No Claim Bonus - Named Driver

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me.

My girlfriend has had a a fully-comp car insurance policy with Tesco for the past three years, however I have been named as the main driver for the entire time. Neither of us have claimed on the policy

I now want to get my own policy. Is there anyway I can use these three years as a 'no-claims bonus'???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whilst their policies were underwritten by RBS they did offer named drivers no claims discount but you had to stay with them to be able to get it. Since they moved away from RBS they no longer offer it.

Some insurers may consider it, though in the sexist world of insurance it was more often the other way round and there was stipulations on what sort of car the previously named driver had, but the first ones to try would be Tesco themselves.
