Yeah - it does make you wonder if it was just easier for them to say that they did not have any blue in stock.

Hopefully you get the result that is acceptable to you - other people have reported success with GoOutdoors on here - so there is hope.

Thanks for your contribution too phoodless. Will let you know how it goes, will probably go in-store tomorrow to see if face to face works better and talk to a manager.

Well, just an update as promised. Was only able to go to the store yesterday and hadn't had a call back in the meanwhile. I think there was a bit of confusion because the returns person was not at work and I had to relay the story to 3 different people, last one being the manager who didn't really seem to be listening and taking in what I was saying. However, I came back with a new jacket as an exchange!!!!
