Swapping Gas and Electrcity
Hi
Could anyone please advise.
I have been looking on the site re. changing our gas and electricity but am completely baffled.
At present we are with British Gas for gas and Eon for the electric.
Paid £900 and £600 this past year for gas and electic, standard tariffs.
Pay quaterly when bill arrives.
I guess paying by direct debit would be cheaper but we dont like the idea of this as we've heared of some bad experieces ie utilities taking far too much to boost their accounts.
But do we phone BG and Eon and play them against each other or go with another supplier/s and keep the two utilities seperate or bring both under one suppier?.
Also, do we do this ourselves direct or use one of the comparison sites. Are these sites any good?.
Please help as I,ve got brain ache - I want to get this sorted but dont want to go from frying pan to fire!.
Regards choare.
