Increasing message preview times

I would like to increase the time that the message preview hangs around for when the cursor hovers above. I had managed to get my firefox browser to do this a few years ago but for some reason it is now only lasting for a few seconds again.
I can't remember how I did it so am hoping that somebody will be able to help out. I am using ff v.3.0.19. Yes I know version 4 & 5 are out but I don't need to upgrade at the moment.

    Hi,

    I use this wee add-on, lets you view as long as you want.

    By the way the latest FF 3 version is 3.6.18.

    No Tooltip Timeout 1.1 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 3.6.18.

    I am using Firefox 5 and the preview stays on as long as my cursor is on the thread title

    Same for me, using FF 3.6.18

    I actively changed a setting so that my version of ff did the same and it worked until recently when for some reason the preview now only lasts a matter of seconds.

    maybe if you update to FF 3.6.18 it will work as stated in post 8.

    Edit:maybe this'll help, though change value to true.
