Christmas Soup

  • I usually make a cream soup, something simple like cream of onion and serve with hot crusty rolls.
Then we don't eat our main course until much later in the day....I hate sitting down to 3 or 4 courses all at once and fit to burst. ;)
  • We normally have Heinz Tomato Soup and have it stored in thermos flasks until the 'right moment' to serve the starter;)
    Best Wishes

We have soup-every year. BUT I cheat.
I always buy either Covent Grden soup or a supermarkets own make of soup in the fridge department. You can get some great flavours and they only need warming in the microwave which means you don't have to use up your hob space.
Try floating home-made star shape croutons on the top for a christmassy feel!!!
    ;) Newbie Comper ;)
