My download and upload speeds?
Can some one tell me if this is good or bad, as dont really understand speed tests, I dont know what is bad and what is good, or the highest and lowest.

download speed 5384 kbps upload speed 326 of mine

If you are on an ADSL 'up to 8mbps' connection that's OK.

It largely depends upon what you intend doing with the connection.

Just browsing and maybe some streaming content and you should be okay. Voice Over IP should be fine.

The speed you get mainly depends on two factors;

1-Distance from the exchange to the master socket in the home. (as the drop cable runs,not straight line of sight)
2-Age & condition of the drop cable.

The are other factors like extensions,wireless or wired ect but the two above are the main ones,If you enter your phone number in the link below,that will tell you the average speed you can get.
