This saturday these where 4.99 in both morrisons and home bargains but i dont know if the offers have changed now.
I got two silver ones (to add to my collection) in Morrisons this morning so the offer's still on.
I'm going to put hand lotion in them once the soap's run out. I find it's easiest to get the top off using the end of a metal teaspoon - it just pops off!0 -

I ended up reading most of that thread
I can't believe that with all that's going on in the world at the moment and with everything that's happened in this country recently people can get so upset and out of their trees over a bl**dy soap dispenser
I love mine0 -
I know that this has been posted on this thread before but just a reminder that the Tesco Value Baby Bath for 5p makes an excellent refill for these dispensers.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0

Can anyone answer my question as to why this comes out really thin like water? Is it because I've poured it into a normal hand soap dispenser???0

Have you poured the refills into a soap dispenser?! Why would you put it into a normal dispenser? I guess if you got it free with the coupon, but it is not the best soap on its own. It can be a bit slimy, which is why most people are buying the dispensers and refilling with a soap of their choice.
We bought a big bottle of antibacterial soap yesterday for 70p to refill when the current one runs out because we don't really like the actual Dettol soap. I wanted to get the white creamy mosturising soap instead of the clearish blue
one and my husband was worried that it would not work with the system because it was creamy. I told him that if some users are putting bubble bath, fairy liquid and mosturiser in it, than creamy soap should be fine!0 -
Can someone point out the point in these things?
Why worry about germs on the pump you are about to wash your hands with the contents this should sort it out. Then of course unless you have paddels on your tap or an automatic tap you will transfer the germs on your hands too the tap and then back onto your hands after turning tap on and off.
Sounds to me like a product being sold on fear that actually solves a problem that does not actually exist.
The point in our house is it's novel so my 3 little chaps (who can get dirty in a white room) wash their hands more often :-D Otherwise I completely agree with you, there isn't any point in them.0 -
First lot ran out this morning and I prepped myself for a battle to refill it but it was simple. I wedged the sides a bit with a letter opener/butter knife and pulled it off with my hands. It was easy! No need for YouTube videos. The new soap is much better than the Dettol one.0
