It's only since I have been charged the £706 by the Leeds BS that I have read the small print (stupid me but another lesson learned) & it seems that along with various other charges a fee of £350 goes to the EA dealing with this sale whether the sale went through or not - this was lost in the small print.
What are the fees for Leeds for? And why £350 to the EA? The buyer doesn't usually pay the EA a penny....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Sounds like a mortgage finders fee.0
