B&Q Tiles Different Colours They Refuse To Help

Hi,
Wonder if someone can help. I am having my ensuite redecorated and purchased 26 boxes of high gloss white tiles from B&Q they were all on the same palet in the store and I checked the shade number on the box. Our tiler has just put them on the wall and they looked lovely but now they have been grouted you can see that some tiles are different shades of white one is bright white and the other is a 'grey' white. I phoned B&Q and they basically said did you check the shade number which we did and if so did you read the disclaimer on the under side of the box (which we didnt as we didnt know there was one there) It states that you must check the packages for the shade number (which we did) and also that the tiles contain variations and you must check every tile before they are put on the wall after this they have no come backs but this does not affect my statutory rights? Can anyone please advise?

I'm fairly sure wallpaper manufacturers do the same thing. Batch numbers giving slightly different shades etc.
Not affecting statatury rights would probably be along the lines of being so brittle they snapped, or were different sizes... Not sure that you'll get far with the complaint but someone else may know otherwise.0
