Hi
i seem to be on here a lot today, moaning.
Anyway moved house recently and got new BT number assigned and a message on the day (15/12) to confirm my line was now active.
Tried the phone and it had no dial tone and when dialling in it would ring but not pick up the call.
Phoned BT who advised they could go through some checks but my line box was diffferent from what they thought so couldnt complete. They the advsied they could arrange an engineer to come out and if it was my equipment or something they couldnt have forseen being a problem a charge of £65 would apply.
Obvioulsy i wasnt to happy but they have you over a barrel, the first date i was told i would get an engineer was 3/1/2007and this was with it being classed as an emergancy appointment. I was shocked at this and said i would get back to them
When i called them back 2 minutes later i said they had already tried the checks and i required an engineer, This time i was given the date of 21/12.
Who knows why but what a poor servcie from BT

I was presented with that little gem, I told them 'fine....in that case I will go to NTL' and they waived the charge.
They also messed up that many times that they didn't charge to have another line fitted upstairs!Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0
