Frequent poster at present as in middle of extension and renovation, so please forgive me.....
A few years ago bought 2 different toilets, 1 was b and q 1 was an independent factory place. Both ended up with wobbly toilet seats, hubby constantly tightening them up, have 3 wobbly bottomed children so they do get a fair bit of hammer.
My question is, on a clear cheap as poss budget however willing to pay a bit more for sanity and a non wobbly future, looked at wickes smart price range etc but how do I know I won't get another crap (excuse the pun) toilet. Anyway able to recommend a brand? or a cheap site?
Thanks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Cheap and non wobbly doesn't go together.0

Search for the most basic models of Twyford, Armitage Shanks, or Ideal Standard - shop around and see if you can find one that fits your budget.0

hi,
If the problem is just the seat that is wobbly / sliding you can buy toilet seat antislip bumper type things that you screw onto inside of seat to hold it in position.
Just search on ebay for 'toilet seat anti slip' or similar (there are some), tho i think i bought mine from betterware or similar.

The last couple of toilet seats I have had have been from Argos, catalogue number 833/0851. Sorry I'm new here and can't post links, so you'll have to search the Argos website yourself ;-)
They kept failing after about 12 months due to the hinges coming loose, but a bit of superglue in the screws when assembling and this latest one and it has lasted over 2 years without the slightest bit wobbling. Maybe I've just been lucky, I don't know, but a tenner certainly seems cheap enough eh?0
