    Maybe it's me, but if it's not there then it looks like you are making things up that would just confuse the OP.
  • Whilst my added comment about ebay may have cause some confusion (for which I apologise) the fact remains that if the buyer did not recieve any information stating that another countries laws applied to the transaction then the transaction is covered by UK laws. And once again I say that, although I don't know german consumer law, I can't see that they would allow a debt collector to chase someone like in the OP's situation.
