Tesco not sending me out a new card

Hi!
In March, I lost my Tesco credit card. It was just misplaced in the house, not stolen or anything. I phoned up tesco and ordered a new one,told 7-10 days for delivery. When I needed to pay my bill that month, I phoned up as I usually do it online but wasn't sure if I needed my new number to pay it. When on the phone, I mentioned my card had not turned up, and they said that it should have and blamed it on the post. Again, 7-10 days and it didn't arrive. I phoned back and was told only 'oh yes, I see why it hasn't been sent, I've sorted that for you now and it should arrive in 7-10 days.' Since then, I've phoned up at least once a month to pay my bill and to ask where my card is. I just keep getting told it will be 7-10 days, no one can answer why I'm not receiving it. I'm getting all other post/cards etc fine, so not convinced it's the post. I'm not able to pay online as I keep getting a new card, so I'm having to phone up each month. Should I just write to them and put all this in the letter, and ask them to resolve it, as phoning them doesn't seem to be working!

Yes, follow their complaints procedure, complain in writing and ensure to head your letter "FORMAL COMPLAINT".
