hmm... if we are going to be picky Dinner is normally served about 8pm so I'm guessing we are all on about lunch?!?!?!I do agree with you on the men doing the dishes though.
we are having ours about 3pm but only because we are going to OH' moms on the evening... only fair though - its his first xmas of not having dinner there which, when the news was broken to her back in september, was met with 'hmph, we'll see' - I think she's still expecting us to change our mind as she has bought a turkey the size of an ostrich (any farms use steroids in their feed?!?!)0 -
Between 1 & 2pm
we open the pressies afterwards so any later & we'd still be at it at midnight :>))Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
We always aim for 3pm in time for the Queen's speech (not that I'm all that bothered what she has to say, just tradition in our house!)
We all meet up at the local at around 12 and head back to mine for 2ishTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

for the past few years we have had an early xmas lunch, around 12.30pm ,as we then drive down to my parents 1.5 hrs away
but this year they are coming up here on boxing day so its just myself, hubby and our 2 boys and we are eating later, about 3 - 4pm and i cant wait0 -
About 2pm-ish for us (with the emphasis on the 'ish') - except for last year when I accidentally switched the oven off half way through  and didn't realise for about an hour....needless to say it was served considerably later than usual.
We don't really bother with breakfast, we just have nibbles/chocolate throughout the morning, and then we have a sort of buffet type thing quite late in the evening (my Mum's buffets are delicious so I make sure I don't over-stuff myself with Christmas lunch!)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
