I have just spent 45 mins talking to scottish power regarding letter from them saying my prepayment meter has not been recovering a debt although when i scroll through the settings, units etc it clearly states £s weekly debt recovery.I also wanted to know if there were any cheaper tarriffs i beleived i was on economy7 as i have storage heaters but was informed that im on COMFORT PLUS WHITE METER ? and only they can supply me for the meter and heating that i have..So im stuck with scottish power...Im disabled and havent had any heating on for almost a year now as in xmas 2009/2010 it cost over £100 for the month of december and thats only two storage heaters..does anybody have any suggestions what i can do ???:(

There was a not dis-similar query recently on the subject of Scottish Power meters :

    which may help.

Can't follow it myself as I am not familiar with the SP tarrifs or meters.

You can't ... simply because no other supplier will support that tariff.

If any supplier suggests they can, attempting to change supplier will inevitably end in tears.

The deal you are on is possibly a very good deal anyway - difficult to compare to be honest, but it certainly sounds cheap to me :)
