company directors

Hi, I am new to this forum thing but interested to find out about a company. The thing is a particular car sales are trying to dupe me and I dont know who the owners names are, so I can take them to a small claims court. Any one help?:(

    if they're a limited company you can find them on Companies house (cost you a quid for the report) and it'll have all the directors details available.

    It is sometimes possible to find the directors name from the Companies house website without having to register or pay.
    Can you post the name of the company on here.

    If you don't want to post it, simply go to the CH website and enter the details on their Webcheck page and then click on the "Order information on this company" TAB.
    This should then give you a full list of all the available reports that you can order, and it usually shows any change of directors, which you can get the name from.

    You don't take the directors to court. You take the company.

    True, you take the company to court and one of the directors may turn up to defend it, you don't need to know who they are.

    Ltd companies must display their name (and usually number) on their paperwork and websites. dont need ti list the directors.

    you can pay to fidn out whothe directors are from companies house

    if they are 'trying' then they 'havent yet', just walk away!
    Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000

    Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
