Hi,
At the weekend I was struck down with Vista 2012 adaware. I used the thread on here to get rid of it (malawarebites, cc etc) and it seemed to be all fine.
Today I was checking my hotmail and MSE came up with a warning of win23/fakerean. It asked me to delete it and I did so, but within the same ten minutes this came up four times. I did a full MSE scan and it found another one. I then ran a Malaware full scan (quick didn't pick anything up). I wondered if someone in the know could have a look at the log - should I be upgrading to IE9 for example?
Thank you in advance

I'm no techie, but it might be useful if you can post the other MWB logs that show the infections.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
The log has no infections... but 213812 objects on a vista system with two hard drives isn't that many.... do you have Microsoft Security Essentials installed (MS free antiirus/malware software) i've always found it very good.
I would upgrade to IE9 in any case if for no other reason than the JScript engine is 10 times faster than IE8 :-)0
