I have sent a formal complaint yes. I have also requested a formal copy of their complaint procedure and there isn't one.0

Thanks for you post it is very informative! I do have some experience in legal matters and understand the correct method to make a complaint. I have requested a copy of their complaints procedure as outlined in their T's & C's but they have written saying they basically don't have one! Just an internal procedure....0

And you are right JuicyJesus I should not tar everyone with the same brush! My appolgies... As I said in my original post, I was naive regarding the statements, but as you quite rightly point out Vanquis still do have a responsibility to inform customers of the account situation. Thanks once again0

I agree with lvm - sounds like they amended your address incorrectly and you will be able to see if this is the case by requesting a copy statement. They have amended my address incorrectly in the past so this is entirely feasible. Good luck!0
