Virgin or MBNA Credit Card?

I am hoping someone can help me.
I am wanting to choose between the Virgin Money Credit Card or the MBNA Platinum Visa Credit card. Now I am 99.99% certain that these are affectly the same credit card but the reason for my question is that I have previously had a virgin credit card, cancelled it around 2007/8 time, and I was wondering if this would work for me or against me?
I would like to get the highest limit possible so would I be better applying for the virgin or mnba?
Any ideas would be great.
