in Credit cards
I feel really silly to have to ask this but here goes:
I have opened a credit card that has a promo rate of 0% on purchases for 3 months from account opening. If I used it and only paid the minimum amount, does it mean I will be paying interest on any outstanding balance come the fourth month?

If you have 0% on two different offers you may still pay interest even if you think you have paid off all the purchases within 3 months.
The card company may allocate your payments to the 0% balance transfer balance instead of the 0% purchases offer, leaving the purchase balance unchanged.
Check the terms and conditions carefully to see how it applies payments in these circumstances. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
