in Credit cards
Hi,
Im looking to get a creditcard with 0% on purchases for 14 month but am a bit confused as when reading the small print it says :-
"0% on purchases for Maximum 56 days from date of transaction for purchases if you pay your balance in full and on time each month."
Does this mean if I buy somthing for £500 and dont pay that off before 56 days from the purchase, then I wont get the 0% for the other 12 month and start getting charged on the £500?
The article I've read on here says you lose the 0% if you dont make at least the minimum payments (not pay the full balance each month)
Thanks in advance, Dave.

Up to 56 days interest free means that if you pay for all your purchases the following month then the interest is waivered. If you don't you'll be charged interest on your purchases - at the purchase rate APR - but on the 0% card that interest is at a rate of 0%, i.e nothing.
The 56days bit only starts to affect you after the 14month period has ended.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
