Quids In UK Blocked From Service

hi guys, has anyone had a messgae on the homepage stating that you are blocked from entering the site? Also states that I am a possible Harvester, which I don't understand. Have emailed today, but no response as yet.

The site works for me (I'm not blocked). I don't know about the rest of the site though, I don't use this site because their cashback rates are awful (really low) compared to a few others out there.

Which cash back sites offer the best rates nowadays?

Quidco and topcashback both offer 100% cashback, not 50% or less (like a lot of the other sites out there......including this one).

Well guys they emailed me back, they have a system that tracks what is beleived to be harvesters. Once they received my email and my IP address they resolved it really quickly. Good on Quids UK.

Yes we have had a couple of problems with our site security recently.
Today it was blocking service to any user with an obvious proxy IP address. This has now been fixed and everyone should now have access.

Occassionally, a genuine user may receive a message that they have been blocked due to "harvesting".
This is not an accussation or slur on the user. As we are becoming more and more successful, our site is becoming more attractive to hackers and scraping robots. These are blocked instantly by some of the most sophisticated software available and pose no real threat to the site.

However, we have been "harvested" by a robot with a reserved IP. This is recorded as "ip='none'" when it gets blocked.
If a user also has a reserved IP address, this too will appear as "ip='none'" and so you will be blocked through no fault of your own.

If this happens to you, please email the admins at the address shown. We usually get this problem sorted within minutes of opening your email. We will contact you, with our apologies as soon as we reinstate your access.

Actually, with some of our offers we give double the commission we get. Everything else is between 65% and 100%

Every offer I've seen compared between your site and Quidco shows your site offering 50% or less of Quidcos rates.

A Gift From The Gods .........You 3%, Quidco 6%
A1 Gifts...........You 4%, Quidco 8%
Asda............You 1.25%, Quidco 3%
Barclays Home Insurance...........You £27.50, Quidco £125
Blah DVD...........You 2.5%, Quidco 5%

These were just random picks from the list of dealers.
Like I said...........Every single cashback rate on your site is 50% or less than offered on Quidco.
