Or if they were a darker fabric (and non-synthetic) you might get away with pressing them then re-dying them the original colour to minimise the hem mark.

If they are washable, unpick hem then wash. Press as above should do the trick. But at the end of the day no one looks too closely at trouser hems and it is better than having too short trousers.hth0
