any tips to get rid of the original hemline crease when lowering the hem on trousers please?:)

iron front and back with a damp cloth, but if the hem is a long standing hem, if you see what i mean, there will always be a line.0

there's not a lot you can do - if its a skirt I would be tempted to edge with a piece of ribbon or contrasting fabric to hide it, but this would look a bit odd on trousers unless they were for a toddler:p0

It's OK freyasmum - I read it like that too and I'm wearing reading glasses. :eek:
As for the hems pressing hard should take out most of the crease and if they are dark it won't really be noticeable anyway. Washing them might help - peg them upside down

Steam iron the outside of the trousers, using a clean cloth on top of the garment so you don't get shiny fabric, concentrate on the unpicked hem before re-hemming. Anything other than a cotton or linen fabric may need some perseverance.
