Milk Theft Drama and My Boss

To be fair everyone loved the job until he came here. But heyho, we would have ended up being made redundant regardless.
Had the meeting and all that happened was a giant slag fest (both ways)
Have not had so much fun in ages as you all quite rightly pointed out I am being made redundant anyway so no reason not to let fly!
It started off with him saying I was subversive, contrary, and did not listen to him… swiftly followed by me with you are an power mad idiot with a stick up your a*se so why would I listen to you? and went down hill from there… 45 mins of me getting calmer and more sharper and him getting redder and more angry.... looked like he was going to explode.
It was the best!
HR did the usual - not witnessed - did not happen.
So no further action.
Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
You should covertly record these outbursts and upload em to Youtube
“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

HR should not have permitted this to happen.
However....the manager should be in your sights. He implied you were a thief and showed his intention to escalate the situation. I would not let this go away. There is a possibility, if redundancies are planned, his corporate head may be on the chopping block. He will be aware of this and is perhaps under a lot of stress and pressure....add to it, prosecute a grievance and be absolutely vigorous with it...stress the tits off him relentlessly.
If the boot was on the other foot, what would he do?Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
Seeing as you are not a thief but obviously subversive, difficult, and use your disability as an excuse to be lazy, I would go in on your last day and fill the fridge with milk. Quite literally. Every shelf, every inch, filled with milk - all with your name on, front and back, top and bottom.
I'd then plant cress seeds in his computer keyboard, and use whatever key pattern it is (CTRL, ALT, arrow?) to turn the screen orientation upside down.
And then shake his hand as you go.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -

give yourself a big pat on the back and have a celebratory bowl of cornflakes using company milk... while there's only you and him in the kitchen of course.0

I can't belive you used the milk or have I missed something!
Well done for sticking up for yourself and a well told story made me laugh!0 -
Deary me, what a palaver.
I take my coffee black and my cornflakes dry, so I avoid these type of office battles:eek:0 -
super glue the lid on the company milk then if he uses a drop of yours tell HR0

You must be pleased with the HR result. Did you come out of there looking like the cat who got the cream after the unit manager was that cheesed off?
Anyways its done now no need to cry over spilt milk, it think this thread has been milked for all it's worth.
