Well the application process for the Brclaycard Platinum card was certainly very quick, approved within a minute of submission and told the balance transfers were being handled - but the question is how long does it really take from submitting the application for the transfer to take place?

Mine took over 2 weeks from the moment i got the card. I was told by the rep that it takes a minimum of 8 days to transfer a balance. The transfers happened on the last day of 8 working day and had to wait another 3 working day for the transfers show on the destination credit cards.I owe £3233 @ 0%0

blimey - just got email confirmation of the successful application (even though the website said it was approved 5 days ago) and with a credit limit of £10000! I cant believe they are still chucking money out that easily! Its getting on for 3 times the amount I wanted to balance transfer so expected a limit of say 5k at the most. I do have a good credit rating but I am still a bit shocked at what they have given me straight away - still, means I can juggle the figures and perhaps spend a little more and BT that too within the first 60 days0

Well the onus is upon yourself to only use what you need and leave the rest rather than rack up unwanted debt.
I was also given a 10k limit but only needed 7k - I must say the remaining 3k was tempting . but thank God for this site . I am much more disciplined nowI owe £3233 @ 0%0
