Where do I stand

Hi, I wonder if you could advise me ! about a year ago I used a solicitor (through contact with the CAB) who gave me free help and advice on my debts as I am one of the great unemployed !

When the solicitor contacted Nat West about my debt and asked for the original paperwork/agreement they replied stating that although I still have the debt and they expect me to continue reduced payments they (Nat West) cannot and/or do not have the original agreement and if it went to court they would not contest it.

I have now written to Nat West to try and get back any payment that I made on the PPI side of my credit card as every penny counts nowadays !

Where do I stand, I am fighting a lost cause ??

If you have £10 spare, then write to Natwest and request all data that they hold on you.
You may get the info you need there.
Do you have the cc number and statements that show you paid ppi?, all you need to claim mis sell is good reasons and the account number. If you dont have any of these then request all info from them.
Look here for reasons you may have been mis sold

If you win your claim then it will be used to reduce your cc balance, it may even clear the debt altogether.
