are mutiple accounts bad for credit rating?

i opened multiple accounts with one bank to max out oon their savings rate but i no longer need them and wonder if it is best to have multiple accounts for my credit rating?( they were opened within the past 8 months).

I would think its "how you run your accounts" that will affect your credit rating, rather then how many accounts you have!

If they're savings accounts then they shouldn't have anything to do with your credit rating. You might want to close them to avoid needing to worry about things like keeping your address updated in future though.
