Lugged another bag of coins down to the bank and cashed them in for a lovely £20 which has gone in the pot. It was all coppers though so my arm is killing me now, that stuff is heavy!

Random bits and bobs been going in all week so I've totally lost count where I was, giving up counting now and will wait for a surprise

Here you all are then! Wondered why the old thread was so quiet when I popped on for my monthly update

£20 into the pot for July's contibution meaning I'm up to £140 and over halfway there now - so pleased I can't tell you. So much so I'm not sure I want to spend it all on a pair of boots now. Will see how I feel closer to the time

I'd like to join please. No target but hoping for lots towards Christmas. I started last week and have got about £7 in there so far. Ended up having to ask OH for 10p towards my bus fare today as had put all my change in the pot!!!

ahh see footie, as I always tell 'himself' im ALWAYS right!! I just dont know how i do it but everytime I tell him anything its true, same with my best mate, shes doing a nail technitions(sp?) course and everytime she sends in for assessment she texts me and says they are all carp and I say 'their fab you'll pass with flying colours' and low and behold she does! now ive got you aswell, I must be telepathic

Well I popped some change in the pot today after religiously counting how much and im beggered if I can remember what the total was, all I know is that there was some silver ones and some copper ones :think:

Hubby has also popped his £6 in his tin (hes being very good, hasnt had a ciggie since he got his tin) and ive now decided that DS is old enough for pocket money at 10 so ive got to start giving him change every saturday if he does the chores on his chart, and obv 3 yr old DD didnt want to be left out where money was concerned so is also earning 10p everyday she makes her own bed :T

Way its going they gonna rob me of every bit of change ive got and my poor pot will go unfed :eek: wonder if I can do some chores for my mum for a couple of quid?:rotfl:

Afternoon all, sorry not been on for a bit ,just been told by the doctor that the baby has Dysplasia in both hips and has to where a harness 24/7 for12 weeks so have been busy with hospital trips ,so have not be on so much as I would like .going to put £4.62 in pot today .
