Do your work colleagues give you funny looks when you pick up change off the floor in the tea room???

DH locks up at work quite often and while he does his checks in the changing rooms he checks the lockers too. he has found quite a few £1 coins left there. They must be left by the kids that go there cos I wouldn't imagine any adult leaving a £1 coin in the locker. I know I wouldn't

But it's money in our pot if they do :D

    Afternoon starnac
I don't take any notice if anybody does give me funny looks, if they want to throw their change away I'm going to pick it up, simples! I don't have any shame ;)

Sue will be along later to allocate you a membership number and explain the rules (get a pot fill it etc) :D Enjoy the banter but most of all enjoy saving. I try to save £2 a day into the sealed pot plus any small change below 50p coins, any change I find in the street etc goes to pay the road tax, MoT & a tank of petrol for my scooter (2 succesful years at that one so far) plus I put £2 coins and 50p's into a seperate pot for holiday spends

A warm welcome aboard and to MSE, winckles and have fun saving. :D You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how the challenge works. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you. :)

I save any denomination of coins that I can winckles, that way I can save far more! Another baby to look forward to! There are a few of us here who love babies/kiddies, so it's always good to have them to look forward to. :A

Good to see you here sparky, if only for a short while. I see you still remember how to save then! ;)

Kids, especially teenagers, are far more reckless with cash, starnac, tis hormonal - must be.

    Ok nataz, I've updated your
target to £100 for you, all the best with it and with the ebay windfall too. :D

Good for you with the finds, Helen..and for your DD as the monitor, bless her. She'll grow up cash savy.

As ever, Lost, you've found again.

You've been here so regularly, Stapler that you're missed, but I guessed you were on more NSDs, not a bad thing at all.

Gap, it's so good to hear you're really benefitting from putting pounds away too, well done.

Keep up the great work folks, you won't regret it. :D

Just been to see Harry Potter, I saved money by walking into town and going on a Tuesday when tickets are only £3.50. The weather didn't seem to promising on the way back though so I had to get the Metro. Anyway this resulted in 50p change to put in pot 2. I was also lucky enough to find an extra 5p in the change bit so I've added that to pot 1.

Oh, and Harry Potter was so good! Can't wait for the DVD release to watch it again.
