Ocada/Waitrose Deals

In light of todays crowdity voucher I was looking at the Ocada section on my supermarket trying to plan a shop. So far I'm struggling as so many things seem to be more expensive than at other supermarkets and I cant quite get around the fact that Im potentially getting £20 worth free.
Anyone found any hidden offers or bargains that are worth checking out?

Have you got your voucher code yet? I signed up just after midnight as soon as the offer went live, but I've not recieved a voucher code..
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • I think the wine is a good bet (if you drink) -25% off 6 bottles the another 50% off with the voucher (assuming you spend just over £40)

I got 6 bottles of wine and 24 tins of cat food for £26 delivered :D - but someone managed 12 bottles for just over £20. Bargain.

Whenever I use mysupermarket, Ocado is always a good £15-£20 more than Tescos and Asda and as I cook mostly from scratch and don't buy a lot of branded goods, that's a big difference.

I just used it to buy baby formula, which is the same price everywhere and never on offer or has vouchers so this offer was really handy!

Good idea on the wine, must admit I foolishly hadnt really considered that. Discovered that the Ocada site has 40+pages of offers which can be cross referenced to My Supermarket, who dont seem to have all of them listed as offers. Made up a decent order from these items and can come away feeling vaguelly virtuous as only about £6 worth was booze. The fact that I just had a case of Landlord delivered as I was doing it may have stopped me from being more profligate!

Pulses, seeds and yeast are actually cheaper than at many other supermarkets, or else just a few pence more expensive, making them well worth it in view of the money off voucher. If you are a meat eater, anything in the essentials range is of sufficiently good quality to justify buying it even it is more expensive than the cheapest stuff elsewhere. The essentials instant coffee is very good for the price as well, and this comes from someone who will always prefer the ground stuff. Can't think of anything else at the moment.... Toiletries and cleaning stuff ? They always seem to have decent offers on some branded stuff.
