Ebay postage

Hi guys, just after a little help. I have a package to send (an item sold on ebay) and have calculated the exact weight (227g) and it is a packet so it will cost £1.96 to post first class. My question is, will I be able to make this price up in stamps? I have a lot of stamps lying around and I'm hoping to save a bit on postage (it was free P&P) by using stamps I already have. What amount of stamps will cover this? I have 6 first class large stamps and a normal first class stamp. So will I be able to make up the correct amount and just hand it over for POP?
I don't want to get to the counter tomorrow after sticking a load of stamps on and have to pay anyway lol, any help greatly appreciated.

Yes.
2 x Large first class = £1.50 + normal first class 0.46 = £1.96
