Solicitor Fee for Transfer of Land

My in laws have bought a property who's back garden backs onto and alongside our garden. They have very kindly decided to give us a third of their garden. In exchange we need to build them a new garage and allow a 1 metre wide access along the "new" end of our garden.
We have arranged a remortgage for the building works we need to do and as part of this process we are using the building society's recommended lender.
Does anyone know if we also ask the lenders solicitors to deal with the transfer of land into our name and the boundary revisions what sort of price should we expect to pay for this additional service.
Thanks

It should be be cheaper than asking another solicitor to do it. But first ask another solicitor for a quote, and then ask you current one. That way you'll know!0
