Just querying if banks have to inform you in any sort of way legally before taking your money for bank charges?

    Some charges yes. Some no. Many of the charges are notified on your monthly statement and taken a month later.

    Yes they do.

    You will typically find details either in the terms and conditions which you accepted, or those terms may refer you to a tariff of charges. :)
