With Scottish Power - Worth moving to EDF?
Hi,
My mum recently received the SP email listing the forthcoming price increases. I was most shocked at the standing charge rate increase of 80%, from 15p to 28~. Looking around this forum I've found a few of you recommending the EDF Saver V2 package. Their day rate is 13.53p, so a couple of pence more than what she's on at the moment but their standing rate is 16p so almost half of what SP charge. Her average monthly spend is £45.
Looking at it, she'll probably be no better off with EDF but I'd like her to change just out of principle with SP increasing their prices like they have. What do you think?
Thanks :-)
