Hi all, can anybody help me with a problem?
Like a fool I've mistakenly shredded my virgin payment slip and I'm wondering how I can pay it.I asked at my bank(Barclays) if I could just pay it over the counter but they can't do it.Is there a bank that I can just pay it at with my account number?I tried ringing virgin but gave up after 20 mins.
Any help would be most appreciated : )

Have you shredded just the payment slip, ie the tear off BGC bit, or the entire statement?
Do you have either telephone or online banking access with your current account?
Are you registered with MBNA for online access to your credit card account?0 -
As always these things happen at the worst time! I'm away from home and my laptop has decided to pack in and I'm really uncomfortable using a shared computer for anything financial.I'm not sure I can get back to Barclays in time to redeposit the money and pay by card on the phone as its a fair distance from where I am.
Someone has suggested I can pay it over the counter at a co op bank (which is a lot closer) anybody know if that's true?
As for the payment slip that went all the way through the shredder in that slow motion kind of way when you know you've dropped a ricket : (0 -
MBNA use the Co-operative Bank to process their payments, and its their details that are on the BGC tear off slip, but I'm not sure if you can just wander into a branch and pay by cash?
Up to you whether you use them (or ring MBNA to confirm*), but the details on both my Virgin cards are as follows:
Sort Code: 086130
Account No: 70328725
Don't forget to use your card number as the reference!
Is there no way you can call them and pay by debit card over the phone?

Thanks Yorkshire Boy,i'll ring them in the morning and see what's what. The real problem is I've got the bloody cash on me and putting it back in the bank before they shut will cause me some real problems.nevermind I'm sure it'll work out right.0
