Praise Topshop and Birmingham Bull Ring Security

Thought this deserved a praise :j

My 14 year old daughter went shopping on saturday to spend her birthday money. When trying on clothes in Topshop she left her phone in the changing room. She realised almost straight away and informed the girl who was working in the changing room. After asking the customer in the changing room if the phone was there, she said no and quickly left.

It was obvious that she had left the phone in the cubicle and this lady had taken it, so Topshop gave a description to security who were able to stop this lady before she had left the bullring, and yep, she had my daughters phone.

I just want to say thanks to Topshop and security and my daughter asked for head office address so I could write in and Topshop said, they were just doing their job.

To me this was wonderful that they went to so much trouble for my daughter to get her phone back. It just goes to show that people do care :T

I was in H+M in the west end a few years ago and found a phone in the cubicle, I went to give it to the girl working the changing rooms and she said "Oh I would have kept it if I were you", funnily enough I ended up taking it to a cashier instead.

So nice to hear something positive - people who work in retail come in for a lot of stick sometimes. The majority of staff work hard, do long hours and often take a lot of abuse from some customers.

Have got to agree - the security in the bullring is in my opinion excellent. In most malls, there not to be seen, but there very 'there' in the bullring, and although ive luckily not had to use them, they seem very helpful.

I think if you just write on the topshop facebook wall thatll do - they always feed the comments back

A nice welcome message and well done to Topshop staff and the Bullring security for doing such a great job and getting your daugher's phone back to her!

Definitely a more refreshing thread than the one from ages ago, where the lad left his Ipod in the sports shop and they gave it away to some woman who claimed it.
