Vent - tesco bank

I needed to speak to a 'real' person when I attempted to call Tesco Bank in Glasgow yesterday about a problem with a savings account. They managed to 'mislay' a cheque that I deposited in my local store on the 28th May and didn't reach Glasgow until the 17th June. I spent a total of 40 minutes yesterday waiting to be put through to a customer advisor:mad:. In the end I had to admit defeat & gave up. I tried again this morning and this time gave up after 15 minutes. I have needed to phone Tesco Bank in the past & have never experienced these problems. I really am so angry & frustrated at not being able to get through. So be warned anyone needing to speak to anyone in customer services be prepared for a long wait. I have now put my complaints in writing. It's cheaper than running up a huge phone bill.
