eBay says my debit card about to expire; it's not!

Just had a message from eBay's billing department telling me to update my details / payment method as my debit card expires on 30th June.......errrrr, no it doesn't and still has 2 years to run.
Is this a mistake or glitch or ????

I presume through PayPal, although I don't know exactly myself, hopefully someone will come along with a bit more know how than me!
