If you stream the video meaning you watch it online like on youtube you can try with this extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox…for the firefox browser http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/ .So download the video with this extension and then convert it to ipod or laptop ect format using the program here http://download.cnet.com/Free-iPod-Video-Converter/3000-2194_4-10498770.html

this is for ipod also but works just for pulling down the files and saving them as xvid or video file

With some of the 4 OD shows, eg Hollyoaks, I can download them using RTMPDump or RTMPExplorer.
But for some of the shows, eg Channel 4 News, other software will be needed.
