My daughter is moving into a new house in 4 weeks with her partner. 3 Bedrooms, downstairs lounge, living room and kitchen. No previous elect/gas bills of her own to go on, Anyone got any advice on how to go about selecting and Energy provider?

    If you go onto the energy comparison sites there is generally an option to say that you don't know your energy usage. If you tick this, it asks you a few questions about the house type & the people to be living in it, and provides an estimated usage based on your answers - from which the comparisons can be made. You can then play around a bit with the figures, compare them to yours or e.g. friends with similar houses, to get an idea of which companies might be best.
