Firefox Help Please

Options
I am currently typing this post in Chrome as I am unable to access the MSE Forum in Firefox and have no idea why!

It was fine earlier, but I just tried refreshing the page I was on to see if there had been any further replies to a thread, and I got this message:

Cookie: __utma=155506215.1197701765.1293006118.1308747905.1308754878.1169; __utmz=155506215.1308755219.1169.137.utmcsr=google|utmccn=(organic)|utmcmd=organic|u

Well something like this but much, much longer.

Can anyone please let me know what may have gone wrong and what I can do to fix it please?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give. x

Still using the 'older' version of FF because Roboform won't work with the new one. Would that be a problem?

if it's a recurring prob. then try creating a new profile and/or update to the latest version of FF -- that might just remedy it .

Thank you. I updated to the latest FF but it wasn't compatible with Roboform - which I use all the time and couldn't do without.

How would I go about creating a new profile please? Am not techy minded at all I'm afraid!

Have you tried deleting any cookie in Firefox that comes from MSE or Google/Google analytics?

Can I ask how you delete cookies please? (Told you I don't know anything even remotely technical...) ;)

For some reason, MSE Forum has come back for me, but I'd still like to know how to delete my cookies please and exactly what to do. Thanks. x

    In the menubar, click Tools.

Select Preferences in the drop down menu.

In the preferences window that appears, click on the Privacy tab.

Click on the Show Cookies button.

Find the site you want to remove cookies for in the list, select it, and click Remove Cookie button.
