Hiya
We have a 4yr old male springer who we re-homed when he was 11mths old.He came with all his papers etc but was just too much of a handful for his previous owners who both worked full time!!!
Anyway he is your typical stupid, full of energy, clumsy springer who's always in a hurry
recently I have noticed he has started walking into things/knocking things over etc
do you think it would be worth a trip to the vets to check his eye sight out?
We do have another springer but she isn't a typical one and is quite laid back and not so daft but he does the walking(well running he rarely walks :rotfl:) into things when he is excited or noseying at someone else so I am wondering if he is just clumsy?
many thanks x

hi, i have a sprocker, and she is forever walking into things, doors, walls, door frames, sofa, my legs. Then she looks at me as if it is my fault!! She has always been like it though.
If it has only started happening it may be worth a quick visit to the vet, just to be sure. Have you looked at his eyes? do they look clear?Back to comping Jan 2013 :j

As you have noticed this recently then it definitely needs checking out.0

I have a springer and he also does this, I just thought it was part of his clumsy, scatty, crazy nature :rotfl:Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0

It sounds as if this is a change so you'd be better getting it checked out.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Springers can be prone to degenerative eye problems, so yes, a vet check is needed. hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

my springer was clumsy too, but she always was! if this is something you have only noticed recently or think its getting worse then I would take your dog for an eye check!0

Please take him to the vets, worst case scenario he gets treated at a relatively early stage, best case scenario your mind is put at rest.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
