Auctions ending at same time and sniping

I usually buy from auction listings my manually sniping. I find that sniping software often puts a snipe in with still about 20 seconds to go, thereby still giving others a chance to outbid. I have perfected manual sniping with <10 seconds to go, and almost always win, even when I know there are numerous other last minute bidders.
No here's the thing. There are a couple of auctions coming up which end within seconds of each other. My question is, can I have ebay open in more than 1 tab on my computer, with each tab open on a different auction, that way I can manually snipe one auction, then immediately (with only 1 mouse click) go to the other auction to manually snipe that one too.
Would this work? If not, then anyone have any other ideas? thanks

Yes, it works, I also have multiple windows for the same item, so I can snipe again if I do get outbid with a couple of seconds left.0

Yes, you can.
Auction Stealer lets you go down to 3 seconds. Not sure how accurate that is though.0 -
You could but i find goofbay sniper pretty good, try manually sniping the one you want more then let goofbay do the other? :beer:0

goofbay is pretty good & you can set the time you want to snipe.
Unfortunately since using it my brain has stopped being able to manually snipe, I watched an auction end the other day on something I really wanted & at 20 seconds to go someone put in a higher bid then my snipe & instead of putting in a higher one manually, I sat & watched it ending, thinking oh, I'm not going to win that as my bid's too low. When it ended I had a light bulb moment, ooh I could have put in another bid, doh. Obviously one of my more frequent senior moments.0 -
I find the Goofbay sniper very good too- I always set it to 'pounce' at 3 seconds!"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0

I use auction stealer (the free version) and I haven't lost a bid yet.0

Thanks everyone, especialy those that answered my question about multiple tabs open etc.
I'll stick with manual sniping as I also like the adrenalin rush - sad, I know
