    Thanks

This souds great. Might try this in a couple of days when I have a bit more spare time. If anyone has any ideas of how to get any of the cast members of The Office or Extras, I'd be so so so greatful if you could contat me via PM or reply here. I'm such a massive fan of the shows, so would really appreciate Gervais, Merchant, Lucy Davis, Martin Freeman, Macenzie Crook, Ashley Jensen or the others. Would also make a fantastic present for my brother wh's also a massive fan.

I got all theirs a couple of years ago just by writing to them at:

    Ricky Gervais
    c/o Artist Mail
    BBC Information
    P.O. Box 1116
    Belfast BT2 7AJ
    NORTHERN IRELAND

    or:

    Ricky Gervais
    c/o Incoming Mail
    BBC Television Centre
    Wood Lane
    London W12 7RJ

you can use either address to write to anyone who is or has been on BBC.

    Good Luck!:D

Normally mention any current shows, tv programmes etc and how long I've been a fan and followed there work.

I always enclose a SAE as a matter of course as well, although some of the stars will send that back!

To echo what Crafty Mum has said, always try to mention the work they've done etc and I find that if I ask them a question sometimes they'll write a letter answering it. I got the most wonderful letter from Tony Robinson (Baldrick from Blackadder) answering my questions about the Odyssey and classical Greek stories! Oh and always a stamped addressed envelope.

My Dad wrote some letters to well known people in the 80's asking them questions for a book he was going to write. I still love looking at all the handwritten responses from people such as Morecambe and Wise, Roald Dahl, Frankie Howerd, Laurence Oliver and tonnes of other stars..... I think it was those lovely letters that started me collecting......:D

I've been after Clint Eastwood's for a while, I sent away some years ago and I got a postcard back with his autograph but it was a copy. Does anyone know if its possible to get a real one without actually meeting him.
I got my Clint Eastwood (and it's been verified as the real thing!) by writing to him at:

    Clint Eastwood
    c/o Warner Bros
    4000 Warner Boulevard
    Burbank, CA 91522
    USA

Like I said in an earlier post, it took 3 years, but I got it in the end.
    Good Luck!:D

My boyfriend got to shoot a few members of the Eastenders cast at a paintball site when he was on a friend's stag do. Must have been far more satisfying than getting them to sign a piece of paper :rotfl:
