looking at new Kitchen and the 2 installers who have quoted recommend CDA for the oven, dishwasher ,fridge etc.
Does anyone have any experience of this brand or reviews as it is a little unknown to me .
Not many reviews online to find more information on reliabilty etc.
Thanks

They've recommended them because they are cheap appliances they can sell at a good margin. Quality wise, they are pretty poor if I'm honest. You should be able to find much better appliances for a similar price online...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

From what I remember (we are going back a couple of years to when I dealt with them) depending on the account type you have with CDA, the price I could buy them for was 45% of the RRP excluding VAT. The trade price was 70% of the RRP. However, this may have changed...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

My sister had a new kitchen fitted about five years ago with a CDA hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher. I'm not sure what make their extractor is, but this was the first thing to cause issues, they've had to replace the motor. The dishwasher gave them no end of problems, and the've recently replaced with another brand. This is despite it only being used once or twice a week.
They've also had to get engineers in twice to repair the oven, whereas my cheapy Lectron oven has only needed bulbs changing in the 16 years I've had it. I wouldn't fit them, tbh, I'm not impressed with them. My sister went to one of the premium kitchen places as well, and it wasn't cheap!Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
