PC World will pricematch even from the internet

They will only pricematch if it doesn't dent the margin on the product too much in my experience.

My router died and I needed one in a RUSH, so went to pcworld, armed with my internet prices. Argued for about 30mins right next to the big price match promise sign and left with no price match.

That's just sooo wrong, next to the sign too!!! What was there 'reason' for not price matcing?

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know what the instore returns policy is please?

Receipt says "Please keep this receipt. It may be required for refunds or exchanges" but I cannot find reference to what their policy is (without going into town).

i bought ADVENT 7109A Laptop from Pcworld for 400 quid, Currys is selling it refurbished for 330, so if i print out the currys page and take it to a PCWORLD store, will i be getting the laptop for 330 from pcworld?

I would suspect not, unless the one you bought from Currys was also refurbished, otherwise they would not be the same item/deal? Also, I am not sure that they will Price Match after the event.
