Sports Direct poor quality suitcase and no refund

2 months ago i purchased a suitcase from sportsdirect shop in person, when i took it for holiday i had so many problem wheel did not role and handle did not work properly. Somehow managed to come back with my broken wheel.
Then took suitcase to shop without receipt i lost that one, shop manager told me to come back with any proof, so went back with my bank statement, now the shop manager says this is wear and tear, i put over luggage that may be problem and cant exchange or replace and did not get complain from anyone.
How can i sort out this problem, can i get refund back.
Anyone dealt with sportsdirect before.
