Gas and Electric Metres

Ive just moved to a house where the gas and electric is on pre pay metres with scottish power, does anyone have any advice on whether i should switch to bill and who to switch with?

    Im on a pre pay electric meter with scottish rip off and i spoke to them today about changing over to a normal meter.as a customer with them for over 6 years i was still subjected to a credit check which i passed but they still wanted £150 deposit and £45 to change the meter.

    Bye bye scottish rip off/spanish rip off and hello BRITISH GAS :T
