Lidl half price weekend - 2nd-3rd July

Definitely pork at my store:


Fantastic price for around 1 1/2lb of pork chops (700g £1.84), but my freezers are full and I've got lots of pork products already - well worth stocking up on though.
Keeping away this week, trying to save my pennies.

Didn't have that offer at my store and not showing on my local website - may be store specific?

I did manage to get 3KG of mince for £5.94 and 1.2KG Vintage Cheddar for £4.32 and also a bag of the mixed peppers for 79p.

Passata was also 25% off down to 29p for 500G.

So a big batch of ragu tomorrow to be frozen down for pasta, chile, fajitas, curries etc.

Word of warning - it looked like they only had about 50 mince and cheese in my local store and it was busy at 8.10am.

I am still convinced that they do these loss leaders just to get store footfall.

I came onto MSE specifically trying to find cheaper lemons. I paid 35p each in Tesco today and I needed 4. I'll need some more next week so I'm hoping Lidl will have them when I pop in. Thanks for posting this.

we had the pork chops in the peterborough store which is annoying as brought all the stuff to make batches of pasta sauces and chilli to freeze then couldnt get the mince

Was pork chops too in Weston Favell Northampton as i wanted some mince and still have pork chops from last time and no room in freezer for more!

3 packs of cheese for me. At £1.44 for 400g and best before 11 October, it was a mega bargain.
